Rob grew up in a town so small in Connecticut that it’s only landmark is Yankee Stadium.. 45 minutes away. He found soccer and lacrosse to be great outlets for his ridiculously high energy levels and they were long standing activities that he participated in… until he decided it was more his style to hurtle down mountains on a snowboard at 60+ mph.. sometimes upside down. An injury brought him right side up and back to Earth and he settled into a career in sales. After doing it his way and running from God’s calling for him for a good many years, Rob finally got word from above that he was to go into Youth Ministry post haste.. Feeling as if this calling came from the business end of a sledgehammer, Rob listened this time and got his keister back into school, earning his Associates in Biblical Studies and he is presently working on his Bachelors Degree in Ministry Studies. He also completed an internship with Arlington United Methodist Church before joining the team here at Lake Shore. He and his wife, Melissa have 3 children (Hannah, Lily & Robbie) and two dogs.  Well, 1 dog and 1 dog/rhino/pig type animal.
